HEARING DA VOICE OF YHWH

Hearing The Small Voice Of The Almighty

Some people wonder, how do you know you're hearing from the small voice of Almighty Yahweh and not the devil. This is a valid question, especially in a society where there are so many false prophets, charlatans and people saying they are hearing from "God", yet if this was true then Yahweh must be an extremely confused schizophrenic, as the prophecies many times disagree with each other and more importantly - with His already written word.
Then there are people that ask, why can't I hear from Yahweh? I pray, I read the Bible, I've asked him to speak to me, but I get nothing. How come some claim to hear from Yahweh and I can't?
Let me answer this, first in summary and then in detail.
Finding Yahweh Doesn't Come Cheap!
Then said Yahshua unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. (25) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. Matthew 16:24-25
That is it in a nutshell. That is also why there are so many contradicting prophecies, false teachers, errant preachers and massive divisions. People who believe that Yahweh can be found with a half-hearted search and no personal sacrifice - cheaply.
When you read the scriptures regarding those who have found Yahweh, you begin to see that prior to finding him they experienced great, great hardships, sacrifice and humbling. Even Paul was humbled, who was at the top of his "game" with the Pharisees when Yahweh knocked him off his high-horse and blinded him for three days.
Look at Moses, raised in a palace. All he knew was life with a silver spoon in his mouth. He was catered to, pampered and treated as royalty (which he was) in Egypt, the super-power of his day.
Before Moses found Yahweh he had to be completely and utterly ruined pertaining to the things in this world. He was cast out of Egypt, his royal position stripped from him and became a wandering vagabond in the wilderness, hunting for his food and seeking water where he could or he would have starved or died of thirst. Moses suffered greatly before Yahweh spoke to him.
Abraham was told to leave his family and take all that he possessed from his safe and comfortable home in the city of Ur and travel by faith through an unknown wilderness filled with all manner of threats and tests of his faith - before Yahweh began to deal with him on a more personal level.
It is written that, He who seeks Yahweh with their whole heart (not halfheartedly) shall find him, but who of us can say that we are seeking Yahweh with all of our whole heart, which requires the seeker to be obedient to each and every understanding they have and not quibble, water down or change his instructions to us, to conform our perception of Yahweh into something he is not?
His requirements are expensive and not cheap. He requires full surrender of our bodies to him, for his use, as he sees fit - not as we see fit:
I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of Yahweh to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to Yahweh, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1
Unless you tell Yahweh that you are surrendering your body for HIS use, don't expect to hear from him. If you do not do the things he has already made clear for you to do, again - do not expect to hear from him.
And why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say? Luke 6:46
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. Matthew 15:8
Man is by nature an arrogant, prideful and boastful creature, full of hubris and self-preservation moods, thoughts and emotions. Self preserving their id and their ego. We have a natural tendency to bring this vile, putrid cocktail to the altar of Yahweh and demand that he reveal himself to us - and we wonder why he is silent; some even proclaiming that he must not exist because he has not bowed to their carnally motivated demands.
A vast majority of those who call themselves preachers did not enter the ministry by a sincere motivation to serve Yahweh - by serving their fellow man, but entered into the ministry to serve themselves, as an easy way to gain power, control, prestige and money. Yahweh does not speak to these men, but they prophesy out of their own hearts for gain!
And Yahweh said to me, The prophets prophesy lies in My name; I did not send them, nor have I commanded them, nor did I speak to them. They prophesy to you a false vision and a worthless divination, and a thing of no value, and the deceit of their heart. Jeremiah 14:14
And you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart. And prophesy against them... Ezekiel 13:17
Many of us need to understand that while Yahweh may have a good sense of humor with us His kids, He is not to be toyed with, neither is he to be taken lightly, or we shall be the ultimate losers.
Like fools we are willing to gamble with our own eternal life because our ego and our id have lied to us to think that we cannot lose it, that we will never hear Yahshua tell us, "Away with you, you workers of iniquity. I never knew you."
So you want to hear from Yahweh? Are you willing to pay the price or are you under the false delusion that he must condescend to your level?
Answer this question:
Are you willing to pay the price? Are you willing to give him what he demands - your body? Are you willing to STOP being so overtly disobedient to his revealed word, or must He accept you - your way? It won't happen.

There is no such thing as instant Yahweh. Once you do surrender to Him, don't expect to start hearing from him immediately, Oh no. Your journey has only just begun, and it is not a fun ride as the natural man perceives fun. It is a continual test of your faith - first!

Look at Joseph, the son of Jacob. He has an obvious Divine dream in which he is shown that he shall rule over his other brothers, which are older than he is. Full of themselves, their own ego and pride, they are repulsed and insulted by what they perceive is the arrogance of their younger brother when he tells them his dream.
Put yourself in the position of Joseph for a moment. You awaken one morning after many nights of praying and seeking Yahweh and you get this dream that is obviously unlike any other dream you have ever had. You know that you know that you know that this dream came from Yahweh. Your first inclination is to be excited, right? Of course. You're first of all excited that Yahweh does exist, secondly that he has heard and partially answered your prayer, and third, not only has he answered your prayer, he tells you he's evidently going to make you rich and powerful!
You awaken the next morning with a certain pep in your step, a glide in your stride and you can't help but to tell your family at breakfast what Yahweh has shown you! You suddenly have no more fear of your brutal and egotistical older brothers because you feel like Yahweh is on your side! He'll kick their butts if they mess with me now!
Then the awful truth of the matter comes out, that though you were given an undeniable promise by Yahweh that you would be this great and powerful man, even ruling over your older brothers, your older brothers have not been restrained by Yahweh from kicking your arrogant, pompous young and tender - natural derriere!
Thrown into a pit, sold into slavery, thrown into prison, Joseph is having real faith issues regarding his dream - and the existence of Yahweh, because these circumstances are totally contrary to what was promised him in his divine communication in the dream. Here is where about 99 and 44/100 percent of you would have an acute faith-failure as big as a high speed tire blow out on an eighteen wheeler! This is the phase where many believers crash and burn, never graduating to the next level which is the reward of Yahweh.
Here you have a promise from Yahweh that you are going to be a great ruler and rich, yet here you are languishing in a damp, dank, crawling-with-vermin prison - FOR MANY YEARS! But Yahweh, who has all the time in the world, took his sweet time in rescuing Joseph from his misery and tribulation, and after many years finally revealed himself to him and delivered him out of the prison and into the place of richness and ruler-ship he had promised him. Joseph's captivity and prison are a representation of our lifespan of captivity or prison we are currently in - to test OUR faith.
And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but Yahweh was with him, (10) And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house. Acts 7:9-10
For nearly fourteen years, Joseph's faith was tested, by the most severe circumstances, but as it is written, Yahweh was always with him - silently with him, just as surely as he is silently with each of us - REGARDLESS OF OUR HARSH CIRCUMSTANCES. We too are being tested even as Joseph.
...Joseph, who was sold for a servant: (18) Whose feet they hurt with fetters (chains): he was laid in iron: (19) Until the time that his word (promise) came (to pass): the word of Yahweh TESTED AND TRIED HIM. (20) The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. (21) He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance... Psalms 105:17-21
And you say you want to hear from Yahweh while in the flesh? Are you willing to pay the price?
Contrary to the popular, pagan belief and as demonstrated by his word, Yahweh doesn't come cheap and he is an affront to our carnal minds and our ways of doing things.
Most of us could not endure hearing from Yahweh in this way - while in the flesh, because his ways are not our ways and it would seem so un-natural.
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways My ways, says Yahweh. (9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9
Finally, to hear from Yahweh while in the flesh opens the door for Satan to get equal-time! Temptations and torments would also increase. Are you willing to pay the price?

To say that you surrender your body to Yahweh is one thing. To allow him to take charge is another. It is un-natural. It is an affront to our carnal mind (which we have until death do us part). It is like being possessed with a Spirit that is at enmity with yourself.
because the carnal mind is enmity against Yahweh, for it is not subject to the Law of Yahweh, neither indeed can it be. Romans 8:7
This is not an easy or glorious task. It is a thankless task that deals with a backsliding, stiff-necked, prideful, stingy and arrogant people. Why would anyone want this no-paying, servile job, not serving Yahweh, as much as serving your brothers and sisters?
I once said, "Yes, Yahweh, I will serve you." To which he said, "Do not serve me, I am in need of nothing, serve your brothers and sisters, and in so doing you shall serve me." You don't even get the glory (or ego trip) of saying you are serving Yahweh.
Are you ready to hear from Yahweh? Are you willing to pay the price? To all sincere seekers of truth the answer should be an unequivocal - YES, regardless of the cost!
Yahweh that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; (25) Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; (26) And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; (27) That they should seek Yahweh, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: (28) For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Acts 17:24-28
Understand this, when you are actually hearing from Yahweh, and not in the carnal sense you desire, and you have total surrender to Him, His voice will become louder, and louder.

The Still Small Voice - Divine Integration

I once was complaining to Yahweh that I need to hear Him and feel His presence more, and He brought to my remembrance what He said to Elijah and explained it further:
And the angel of Yahweh came to him the second time and touched him, and said, Arise, eat, because the journey is too great for you.

And he arose, and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb the mount of God.

And he came there to a cave and stayed there. And behold, the Word of Yahweh came to him, and He said to him, What are you doing here, Elijah?

And he said, I have been very zealous for Yahweh the God of Hosts. For the sons of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, thrown down Your altars, and have slain Your prophets with the sword. And I, I alone, am left. And they seek to take my life away.

And He said, Go forth and stand on the mountain before Yahweh. And, behold, Yahweh passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains, and broke the rocks in pieces before Yahweh. But Yahweh was not in the wind. And after the wind was an earthquake, but Yahweh was not in the earthquake.

And after the earthquake was a fire, but Yahweh was not in the fire. And after the fire was a still, small voice. 1 Kings 19:7-12

He explained to me that we do not understand how we are made, that we are made very similar to Him (His image), that we expect when He speaks to us that it would be as something alien to ourselves such as a thunderous external voice, a voice so strong that it would cause the earth to quake. We expect that when Yahweh speaks to us that it would be a very different experience from our everyday experience.
Most believers do not understand how closely integrated they already are with Yahweh, but they suffer from spiritual low self-esteem and alienation from Him.
If it wasn't for Yahweh, you would not even exist, therefore, when He speaks to you, you expect some great change to occur, even as Elijah was expecting, but where was He found? In the thunder? In the earthquake? In some fantastic and alien place? No, He was simply INTEGRATED into him, as a STILL SMALL VOICE.
You are also integrated with Yahweh, but you sometimes wonder where He is, and you go seeking after Him, running here and there for someone else to speak to you answers, being led astray. Even though as you go seeking after Him, He is already going along with you for the ride, shaking His head, saying I AM RIGHT HERE, in that still small voice within you.
You expect Yahweh to come in a flash of lightning, a glowing, growing ball of light or to appear to you in like manner as when Yahshua was transfigured on the mount, but these are exceptions to the rules, not the norm.
Understand Yahshua, that without His Spirit being with you and in you, you would be caught away and drowned in the entanglement of the world with no awareness of the hour.
Who do you think woke you up and led you to Yahshua? Did you feel Him at the time you were searching for Him? No, but He was with you, He was in your mind, He was one with you and you knew it not.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. John 15:16
You were made in Yahweh's image and likeness and because of this it is not a great leap for Yahshua to be in you and speak to you and through you without you ever knowing it was Him.
You were made to be Yahshua's temple, a temple should not be built that it would not fit the one who it was built for, and Yahshua fits perfectly with you - so much so that you don't even realize that He is in His temple (your body), and if in body, then also in your mind.
What you are really seeking, when you say you cannot feel Him or hear Him is that you want to be healed physically or you want an energetic boost as evidence that He is in you. He could do that, but that is not how He wants you to know Him.

You must trust Him and walk by faith and not by sight, to seek Him through prayer and fasting. You love Him, so keep His commandments and forget not the Bread of Life (His Word) in your daily walk.

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of Yahweh. Matthew 4:4

As Elijah did, do not seek Yahshua in the thunders or in the earthquakes, but seek Him with all humility daily and you will come to know Yahweh's still small voice. Study His word, if you want to live and know His ways.
