Freedom of Choice in 21st Century America?
Do you prefer a full naked body scan of highly dangerous levels of radiation? Or would you prefer to be groped by TSA agents?
Oh, say does that Star Spangled Banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
Have you ever considered that the Star Spangled Banner; the National Anthem of the United States ends with a question? While the U.S. Flag still waves, is the United States truly still the land of the free, or is it rapidly becoming the incubator for the home of the Brave New World Order?
Economic Collapse Blog
There has been no society in the history of the world that has ever
been 100% safe. No matter how much money the federal government spends
on “homeland security”, the truth is that bad things will still happen.
Our world is a very dangerous place and it is becoming increasingly
unstable.
The federal government could turn the entire country into one giant
prison camp, but that would still not keep us safe. It is inevitable
that bad stuff will happen in life. But we have a choice. We can
choose to live in fear or we can choose to live as free men and women.
Our forefathers intended to establish a nation where liberty and freedom
would be maximized. But today we are told that we have to give up our
liberties and our freedoms and our privacy for increased security. But
is such a trade really worth it? Just think of the various totalitarian
societies that we have seen down throughout history. Have any of them
ever really thrived? Have their people been happy? Unfortunately, the
U.S. federal government has decided that the entire country needs to be
put on lock down.
Nearly everything that we do today is watched and
tracked, and personal privacy is rapidly becoming a thing of the past.
Many of the things that George Orwell wrote about in 1984 are
becoming a reality, and that is a very frightening thing. The United
States is supposed to be the land of the free and the home of the
brave. Sadly, we are rapidly becoming the exact opposite of that.
I don’t know about you, but I never signed up to live in North
Korea. When I was growing up I was taught that repressive regimes such
as North Korea are “the bad guys” and that America is where “the good
guys” live.
So why do we want to be just like North Korea?

The Last Nail in the Coffin of the Republic?
On May 25, 2011 The Defense Authorization Act or H.R. 1540, aka The Forever War Act of 2012,
was overwhelmingly approved by the House of Representatives by a
vote of 322 to 96.
The Senate will now vote on its own version and then the two bills will need
to be reconciled before going to Barry Soetero Obama for his signature into law.
The law authorizes the United States to use military force anywhere it says
there are terrorists, including within the borders of our own country. It
represents the largest hand-over of unchecked war authority from Congress to the
executive branch in modern American history.
The founders were seriously opposed to handing this much power over to
executive, fearing tyranny. If enacted into law, this provision will make Obama
a dictator who can wage war without the consent of the American people.
THE DECLINE OF THE AMERICAN EMPIRE: AN INTERVIEW WITH DR. PAUL CRAIG ROBERTS
Amazingly powerful video: Joe Rogan & Duncan Trussell reveal just how draconian the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 is, as the U.S. government may now use it's military to arrest and detain any citizen worldwide including peaceful law abiding U.S. Citizens to crush any voice of opposition formerly protected by the First Amendment.

“Dissent is what rescues democracy from a quiet death behind closed
doors.”
-Lewis
H. Lapham
The year 2011 will bring Americans a larger and more intrusive police state,
more unemployment and home foreclosures, no economic recovery, more disregard by
the US government of US law, international law, the Constitution, and truth,
more suspicion and distrust from allies, more hostility from the rest of the
world, and new heights of media sycophancy.
2011 is shaping up as the terminal year for American democracy. The
Republican Party has degenerated into a party of Brownshirts, and voter
frustrations with the worsening economic crisis and military occupations gone
awry are likely to bring Republicans to power in 2012. With them would come
their doctrines of executive primacy over Congress, the judiciary, law, and the
Constitution and America’s rightful hegemony over the world.
If not already obvious, 2010 has made clear that the US government does not
care a whit for the opinions of citizens. The TSA is unequivocal that it will
reach no accommodation with Americans other than the violations of their persons
that it imposes by its unaccountable power. As for public opposition to war, the
Associated Press reported on December 16 that “Defense
Secretary Robert Gates says the U.S. can’t let public opinion sway its
commitment to Afghanistan.” Gates stated bluntly what has been
known for some time: the idea is passe that government in a democracy serves the
will of the people. If this quaint notion is still found in civics books, it
will soon be edited out.

VIDEO INTERVIEW WITH LINDSEY WILLIAMS: DEATHBED GLOBALIST SPILLS GUT ON PLAN TO DESTROY AMERICA
The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution clearly states:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Meanwhile nowadays the TSA says: Show Us Your Body, or We'll Feel You Up!

The growing revolt against invasive TSA practices is encouraging to Americans who are fed up with federal government encroachment in their lives. In the case of air travelers, this encroachment is quite literally physical. But a deep-seated libertarian impulse still exists within the American people, and opposition to the new TSA full body scanner and groping searches is gathering momentum.

Are we now to accept that merely wishing to travel and board an aircraft give rise to reasonable suspicion of criminality? |
|
|
I introduced legislation last week that is based on a very simple principle: federal agents should be subject to the same laws as ordinary citizens. If you would face criminal prosecution or a lawsuit for groping someone, exposing them to unwelcome radiation, causing them emotional distress, or violating indecency laws, then TSA agents should similarly face sanctions for their actions.
This principle goes beyond TSA agents, however. As commentator Lew Rockwell recently noted, the bill “enshrines the key lesson of the freedom philosophy: the government is not above the moral law. If it is wrong for you and me, it is wrong for people in government suits… That is true of TSA crimes too.” The revolt against TSA also serves as a refreshing reminder that we should not give in to government alarmism or be afraid to question government policies.
Certainly, those who choose to refuse the humiliating and potentially harmful new full body scanner machines may suffer delays, inconveniences, or worse. But I still believe peaceful resistance is the most effective tool against federal encroachment on our constitutional rights, which leads me to be supportive of any kind of “opt-out” or similar popular movements.
After all, what price can we place on our dignity, personal privacy, and physical integrity? We have a right not to be treated like criminals and searched by federal agents without some reasonable evidence of criminal activity. Are we now to accept that merely wishing to travel and board an aircraft give rise to reasonable suspicion of criminality? READ FULL ARTICLE

In all things, there exists a ‘point of balance’; a line that, if
crossed, results in the sudden and expedient loss of our
self-determinism and makes us subservient to the fickle whims of social,
political, and physical gravity. We are “thrown” into the air, as it
were, and the landing is rarely ever pleasant. The U.S. Constitution
and the civil liberties it outlines is itself one of these historic
points of balance. Its original purpose was to temper the most epic of
grappling matches ever ignited; between the relentless constructs of
government, and the individual freedoms of the common man. The ultimate
problem inherent in this struggle is one of consistency, vigilance,
and labor…
While the concept of the Democratic Republic and the Constitution was
meant to remove suffocating class warfare from our political life and
free us from the numerous dangers of elitism, invariably, those men who
thirst for power over others find a way to insinuate themselves into
any system, regardless of checks and balances, especially when the
populace does not fulfill its necessary role as watchdog and tireless
sentinel. Many Americans often assume that ‘the people’ derive their
power from the Constitution, but the reality is actually reverse; the
Constitution, in fact, derives its power from the people. Our duty
(which some have forgotten) has always been to protect the rights and
liberties inscribed on those pages of parchment. Not just to know
those rights, or recite them, but to implement and defend them in our
day-to-day existence. Without the constant nurturing cultural pulse of
sound minds and courageous hearts, the Constitution dies.
Many in our society, instead of taking on the responsibility of
preserving their freedoms, have instead handed it over to the trappings
of government. The fatal error here is obvious; the corporatized and
over-centralized political landscape of America’s government today does
not hold the same values as the people it is determined to lord over.
We have witnessed the parasitic possession of our system, know it to be
corrupt, yet still seem to expect this bureaucratic monstrosity to
cradle our liberties in good faith!
Government is a tool; a mechanical apparatus that can be used to
either preserve freedom, or annihilate it. Its use depends upon those
men who wield it, and the men who wield our government today certainly
do not have the expansion of freedom in mind. In this article, we will
examine the many points of contention (balancing points) brewing as our
exceedingly globalist leaning political leaders overstep their bounds.
Any one of these points, if allowed to falter by Americans, could
throw the whole of our heritage into disarray… READ MORE

The editors of The Economist have declared Constitutionalists are mentally ill. "Indeed there is something infantile in the belief of the Constitution Worshipers that the complex political arguments of today can be settled by simple fidelity to a document written in the 18th Century."
Gee Eye wonder if Barack Hussein Obama is mentally ill because he swore "To defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies; foreign and domestic?" How does President Obama really see The Constitution? Why did he swear to protect, and defend that which he considers to be fundamentally flawed?

A film by Bryan Law and Dan Dicks "United We Fall" is a documentary about the North American Union that is being developed right now between Canada, the United States, and Mexico. In recent years, the mood has shifted and a rift is developing between those who want a Deeply Integrated North American Community, and those who wish to retain their national sovereignty.

The first clans organized around local police forces. The conservatives’ war on crime during the late 20th century and the Bush/Obama war on terror during the first decade of the 21st century had resulted in the police becoming militarized and unaccountable.
As society broke down, the police became warlords. The state police broke apart, and the officers were subsumed into the local forces of their communities. The newly formed tribes expanded to encompass the relatives and friends of the police.
The dollar had collapsed as world reserve currency in 2012 when the worsening economic depression made it clear to Washington’s creditors that the federal budget deficit was too large to be financed except by the printing of money.
With the dollar’s demise, import prices skyrocketed. As Americans were unable to afford foreign-made goods, the transnational corporations that were producing offshore for US markets were bankrupted, further eroding the government’s revenue base.
The government was forced to print money in order to pay its bills, causing domestic prices to rise rapidly. Faced with hyperinflation, Washington took recourse in terminating Social Security and Medicare and followed up by confiscating the remnants of private pensions. This provided a one-year respite, but with no more resources to confiscate, money creation and hyperinflation resumed.
Organized food deliveries broke down when the government fought hyperinflation with fixed prices and the mandate that all purchases and sales had to be in US paper currency. Unwilling to trade appreciating goods for depreciating paper, goods disappeared from stores.
